DECOMMISSIONING and Beyond...

The ship was decommissioned on January 31, 1989


Leased to Pakistan January 31, 1989. Renamed as the PNS (Pakistani Naval Service) BADR D-161.  


She was struck from the Naval Vessel Register on 2 February 1994, and disposed of by Navy title transfer to the United States Maritime Administration, 28 March 1994


Sold March 29 1994 for scrap
